Script2Motion – Privacy Policy

1. Content you create

Scripts, voice recordings, projects and exported videos are stored only in the app’s private storage on your device. The app has no account system and does not upload your content to any server. Videos are rendered and encoded on your device without an internet connection.

2. Permissions

• Microphone – used only while you record narration for a scene. Recordings stay on your device.
• Auto voice – scene narration is created by your phone's built-in text-to-speech engine. The text is processed on your device by that engine (for example Google or Samsung) and the audio files stay on your device.
• Save to gallery – used only when you tap “Save to gallery”, to add the exported video to your photo library. The app does not read your existing photos or videos.
• Internet – used to load and measure ads (see below), to check for app updates, to check that the phone is online before a video is created, and to download satellite map images from NASA’s public GIBS service for map scenes (only map tiles are requested; nothing about you or your script is sent). Your scripts, recordings and videos are processed on your phone and are never uploaded.

3. Advertising

The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID), IP address, approximate location, app interactions and diagnostic data. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google’s consent form before ads are requested, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

4. Data we collect

The developer does not collect, store or sell personal information. Apart from the advertising data processed by Google described above, no data leaves your device.

5. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. Ads are limited to family-friendly (PG) content.

6. Data retention and deletion

You can delete any video or project in the app. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data from your device. App data is excluded from cloud backups.

7. Security

Content is kept in storage that other apps cannot access. The video engine runs in an isolated view that cannot make network requests or open files.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new “Last updated” date.
